Julie Ann Owens, 68, of Columbus, Ohio passed away March 22, 2026.

She was born October 2, 1957 to Richard and Doris Morris in Park Forest, Illinois. Julie married Bill Owens on October 20, 2001 in Columbus, Ohio. Julie brought joy to everyone she knew with her kindness and laughter. She was a Christian and an accomplished photographer. Julie graduated from the Ohio State University with a Master's degree in Social Work. She touched many lives as a dedicated social worker, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Owens, and by her sister Janis (Michael) Norton. Julie is also survived by Don and Joyce Owens, Susan and Lee Harper, Scott Harper, Christine Harper, Margaret Gallagher, Mathew (Michelle) Norton, Hannah (Alex) Lampron, Lucie and Emeline Lampron, and Micah, Mia, and Macey Norton.

Julie is preceded in death by her sister Linda Clement (Jean Louis).

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 12:00pm at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home in Worthington, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The family suggests that donations be made to the Ohio State University College of Social Work, which can be done through this link: https://www.osu.edu/giving/explore/support-a-college/college-social-work
