Julie A. Zibell
Age 79, of Lake City (formerly of Vadnais Heights), passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on November 17, 2024.
Survived by loving husband of 59 years, Les; children, Dan, Lori (Scott) Larson, and Wendy (Dave) Cole; grandchildren Ellie (Stephen), Julia, Jack, Eva, and Andrew; sister Linda Wenzel; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, brother John, and nephew Jeff.
Julie was born on October 22, 1945 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Donita and LeRoy Shosten. She grew up in Roseville, Minnesota and graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School in 1963. She married Les on June 30, 1965 in Roseville.
Julie devoted her life to caring for her family. She adored her grandchildren and loved to cheer them on from the sidelines of many soccer and baseball games. She loved to host gatherings and be surrounded by family and friends. In addition to being an amazing cook, she enjoyed music, sewing, golfing, biking and playing tennis.
Funeral service 11am Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Incarnation Lutheran Church; 4880 Hodgson Rd., Shoreview. Visitation one hour prior to service at church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or to donor's choice.
