Juliette Kozak Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 23, 2024.
Juliette A. Kozak, 66, died February 22, 2024 at Resurrection Hospital in Chicago. A lifelong Chicagoan, she was loved by her family and many friends and will be remembered for her devotion to the people she loved and her kindness and generosity.
She was born to Wanda, nee Pater and Joseph Kozak on August 3, 1957. As the last of four children, she enjoyed the privileges and suffered the perceived indignities of being the youngest. She graduated from Queen of All Saints Grade School and Regina Dominican High School and attended Bradley and Loyola universities.
Her career at Red Cross and LifeSource blood banks was a good fit for someone who was compelled to make a positive difference in people's lives.
Juli enjoyed traveling. As a young woman, she backpacked for weeks throughout Europe. She also was thrilled by the lively action of Las Vegas.
Holidays were special. She loved the celebrations and the family gatherings and enjoyed dressing in style for them. (She is survived by her decades-old sequined gym shoes, which she hauled out and wore every Christmas.)
A variety of lucky pets throughout her life were the beneficiaries of her abundant affection.
Juli will be warmly remembered by her longtime partner, Richard Arnfield; sister, Louise Kozak; brother, Kenneth Kozak (Lynn Roberts); brother, Conrad (the late Charlotte) Kozak; niece, Joy (John) Koziol; niece, Ann Kozak (Norm Mason); great-nephew, Ethan Mason: and great-nieces, Amelia and Iris Mason.
Private graveside services will be held at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, IL.

It is heartbreaking to learn of Julie´s passing. I have many fond memories we shared when we were young. She was such a beautiful person. Gone too soon.

I'm so sorry to hear about this loss. I wish I would have known sooner. She was a person with a heart of gold. She was deeply missed when she left Lifesource Blood Services where we worked together. She had the sweetest personality. Our loss of this soul is truly Heaven's gain. God bless her family and friends. Amen
