Velorio el jueves de 4 a 8 PM en la Funeraria Shook, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Servicio Fúnbre el viernes 11:30 AM en la funeraria. Entierro, Cementerio de Laurel Grove, Totowa.

Julio D. Saenz, 76, of Lodi passed away on August 26, 2024. Born in Caraz, Peru, he traveled to the US in 1991 and lived in Garfield before settling in Lodi 19 years ago. Julio worked for Anthony's Pizza, Fair Lawn, for many years.
Beloved husband of Luz V. (Viviana) Saenz. Devoted father of Julio R. Saenz and his wife Liz of Clifton, Ines Quingco and her husband Ryan of Dumont, Judy Saenz and her partner Juan Silva of Lodi, Jhon M. Saenz and his wife Karen of Prospect Park and the late Jeanette Saenz. Loving grandfather of Katherine, Kristen, Yanella, Yamely, Angelina, Ashley, Sandrita, Jaleah, Adrian, Jovani and Alexa. Cherished great-grandfather of Lyra and Jaden. Dear brother of Lorenzo, Fortunata, Casimiro and the late Eugenio and Issac. Julio will be missed by his furry companions, Mima, Charlie, and the late Mimi.
Visiting Thursday 4 – 8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Service Friday 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.

at the hospital, he hold me before my mom or father. he was a dad to me i lived with the last time i saw him was before practice is not fair he passed away. he was a one of a kind to this world he donated a fortune to st jude hospital. i helped him with everything until the end i loved when he would back me up when in trouble or when he would scream my name "jaeleah!" after school or bring cookies or brownies everyday after work. to be honest he loved to work he would there handsome as always and he got along with everyone i´m so happy most of his coworkers came to see him one last time and the video they said to get better when he was at weak. all pain is gone now you may rest in peace grandpa i love so much. jaeleah
