Julio Zallo

It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend, Julio Frank Zallo. (Julius)
Julio was born on October 8, 1957 to Frank and Delphina Zallo in the Bronx, New York.
Julio passed away in Cleveland, Georgia on November 6, 2025.
Julio attended Christopher Columbus High School in the Bronx from 1973-1976.
He married Jeannette Zallo in Alexandria, Virginia on May 18, 1978. Although life took them in different directions, the love they shared never truly ended.
Julio spent his lifelong career in the automotive business acquiring special training, certifications and licenses in the automotive field.
He was the proud owner of Zallo's Auto Center in the Bronx for 20 years.
He loved to fix things, fishing and the water. Julio especially loved to spend time with his family and friends.
He was full of life, laughter and fun. The
"all around good guy" and always willing to help anyone who needed it.
Julio was predeceased by his father Frank Zallo, his sister Susan Zallo, his stepfather Sol Mirell and his niece Christina Buonaiuto.
He leaves behind his mother Delphina
(née Romano) Mirell, his sister and "brother" Valerie and Joseph Cuce, Jeannette Zallo, his daughter and "son" Jennifer and Jason Fitzpatrick, his son Julius Zallo Jr, his granddaughters Cassandra and Hailey Fitzpatrick, his nephews Jason McClusky, Anthony Buonaiuto and Daniel Buonaiuto along with many other family members and friends.
