Julius Bennett Obituary

Julius was born in Philadelphia, on May 5, 1949, a son of the late Tamara (Robinson) and Paul Bennett.
He served in Vietnam in an artillery unit and later rose to the rank of First Sergeant, retiring after 20 years. He then worked for the US Postal Service as an Inspector for 32 years, retiring in 2017.
Julius enjoyed professional shooting, hunting, fishing, swimming, watching and collecting movies. and listening to a variety of Motown recording artist (Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Etc.). His favorite Motto is, "Don't worry, be Happy and always praise Jehovah's God, In Jesus Christ name, my Lord and Savior."
Julius is survived by his three children, Anthony, Keith and Tamara Bennett all of Philadelphia and by 7 grand children, six great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call Monday evening, November 24th, from 6-8 PM and Tuesday Morning November 25th, from 8-9 AM at Feeney Funeral Home. A Religious Service will follow at 9:00 AM. Procession will leave funeral home at 9:45 Am sharp for an 11 AM interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military Honors.

A true friend in this world was taken up to heaven to be with other friends by our Lord. He will truly be missed by everyone that he touched. He is now at peace ,Julius you fought with the devil and won I will be looking forward to be with you in heaven . You will and are missed. Later my brother .
