Julius J Cimmino

Julius J. Cimmino, 77, of North Arlington originally of Union City, New Jersey, passed away on March 6, 2025, in Hackensack, NJ. Born on September 10, 1947, to Julius Cimmino and Enes (Diomede) Cimmino.
Julius dedicated four years of his life to serving in the U.S. Navy from 1968 to 1972, a period during which he exhibited unparalleled commitment and valor.
Following his honorable discharge, Julius was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and then went on to a career with the Bergen County Utilities Authority until his retirement. His work was characterized by diligence and a profound sense of responsibility, traits that earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
Julius loved sports and was an avid fan of the Yankees and Rams. He had a passion for cigars and horse racing on the flats. He enjoyed a traditional Italian meal, an old-fashioned hot dog, classic western movies, and music from the 50s. He was a proud father and grandpa and enjoyed quiet time at home. He was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life.
Julius was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rosalyn, and his granddaughter Charlotte. He is survived by his children, Damien and Nicholas and his wife Kylie; grandchild, Gianluca; brother, James and his wife Sue; and nieces, Meredith and Stephanie.
Family will receive friends Monday 3/10 from 4-7pm at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford
Funeral Tuesday, all are asked to arrive 9:00am for a 10:00 Prayer Service at the Funeral Home followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
