Dennis James Cimmino

Dennis James Cimmino, 73, of Milford, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026 at his home in Milford, CT. Dennis was born on January 6, 1953 in Aurora, Colorado, to James Cimmino and the late Patricia Gillian.

Dennis was known for his friendly spirit, unwavering loyalty, and deep love for time spent with family and friends. A natural people-person and truly the life of the party, he brought laughter and energy wherever he went. He enjoyed cooking, most notably the annual pig roasts, relaxing days at the beach, traveling, and cheering on his beloved New England Patriots.

A talented athlete, Dennis played football and baseball at West Haven High School, where he set multiple records, and went on to play college football at the University of Colorado. Handy and generous with his skills, he was always willing to lend a hand, helping friends and neighbors fix whatever needed attention. Raised as an altar boy, Dennis later in life found his way back to his faith, rekindling a meaningful relationship with God that brought him comfort and peace.

Dennis is survived by his daughter Raven Massi (husband Todd), stepson Jeremy Wood (wife Kate), and life partner Pamela Proctor. Sister Ro

chelle Fleck, brother Timothy Cimmino, grandson Oakley, future granddaughter Elora, and many additional beloved family and friends. Dennis is predeceased by his sister Cynthia Rausch (husband Gert).

Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday February 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford. A Prayer Service is to begin at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
