It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Lule Arifaj, who departed this life at the remarkable age of 99. Lule passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Lule was a truly extraordinary woman whose long life was filled with devotion to her family and compassion for others. She touched countless lives with her warmth, wisdom, and generous spirit. To those who knew her, she was a source of comfort, guidance, and unconditional love. Her presence brought joy to gatherings, and her memory will forever remain a cherished blessing to her family and friends.

A more complete life story celebrating Lule's remarkable journey will be shared in the coming days. In the meantime, family and friends are invited to honor her memory by lighting a candle in remembrance or by offering condolences to the family.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, March 8, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Calhoun–Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford. Funeral services will be held on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a prayer service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Street, Clifton.

Though she is no longer with us, Lule's love, strength, and beautiful spirit will remain forever in our hearts.
