MURPHY, July – of Davison, Michigan, age 48, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, Michigan 48423. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home and again on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12 noon.
July was born in Flint, Michigan on July 21, 1976, the beloved daughter of Michael Sr. and the late Carol (Brown) McCarty. She graduated from Davison High School in 1995, where she proudly served on the pom-pom squad. A talented and dedicated gymnast, July earned 7th place at the state gymnastics meet at just 14 years old. July had a deep love for the outdoors and traveling, especially her trips Up North to Munising, where she found peace and beauty in nature. More than anything she cherished every moment spent with her family. July's vibrant spirit and warm heart touched everyone who knew her.
July is survived by her father, Michael McCarty, Sr.; children: Joey Murphy and Molli Murphy; siblings: Chad (Kristine) McCarty, Daniel McCarty and Michael McCarty; father of her children, Joe Murphy; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol McCarty.
