Juma H. Hill (Elow) peacefully entered into eternal rest in the Dominican Republic on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the age of 48. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey LA. Juma was a graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School Class of 1995 and was a member of the football team where he wore the #15 jersey. After graduation, he attended college at Kansas Wesleyan University. He was employed as Construction/Project Manager. Juma will be remembered for his love of football, fishing, cooking, and just being around family and friends. Beloved son of Moses Hill, Jr and Antoinette Guillory-Elow. Fiancé of Ganika A. Davis. Pops to his pet Bruno. Grandson of the late Moses Hill, Sr., Vashti Bowens Walter, and Mary Guillory. Great grandson of the late Vashti Felix. Brother of Alisia Hill, Danikia (Ellis) Thomas, Jaisha Irvin (Travis) Franklin, and Kyren Hill. Nephew of Bobby (Brenda) and Ted (Bobbie) Guillory, Franciene Simmions, Malcom (LaTungia) Hill, Mildred Blanche, and the late Melanie Guillory, and Barbara McGrew. Uncle of Cymone Gates, Brittani Encalade, Breanne (Michael, Jr.) Goldsboro, Ja’Quan Irvin Sr., Melanie and Tre’ Quan Franklin, Ajani (Jasmin) Black, Ashanti Bradley, and Madison Hill. Great uncle of Ja’Quan Jr., Legion, and Ja’Aire Irvin, Josiah Black, Michael, III, and Beau Goldsboro. Godfather of Asia, Caleb, and Ryaan Gabriel, Zayden Davis, Brycen and Braxton Holmes. Godbrother of Tracey Taite and Eddie Spotville. Father figure of Keon Hampton and Bonus Pawpaw of Keh’Lani and Kah’Marii Hampton, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Israel Baptist Church 1612 Esther Street, Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Darrell Mckinnies, Host Pastor; Minister Sean Duckett, Officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale LA. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA.
