June E. Bloch, age 92, of Battle Creek, died February 19, 2026 at Heritage Assisted Living. She was born November 10, 1933 in Walkerville, Ontario, Canada the daughter of John William Russell and Edna May (Corbett) Bristow. A 1954 graduate of the Grace Hospital School of Nursing in Windsor, she worked as a Registered Nurse retiring from Lakeview General Hospital. June was a member of Westlake Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder. She volunteered at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen and Lakeview Food Pantry for many years. On December 18, 1954 she married Richard P. Bloch and he preceded her in death on November 30, 2009. June is survived by three children: Laura (Donald) LaLonde, Russell (Janet) Bloch and David (Juli) Bloch; nine grandchildren: Ian (Ashley Norrod) LaLonde, Aaron (Nicole) LaLonde, Tyler (Samantha) Bloch, Andrew Bloch, Joel (Simi Jandu) Bloch, Jarrod (Megan) Bloch, Ryan Bloch, Audra Bloch and Wyatt Bloch; and four great-grandchildren: Sophia, Asher, Theo and Lofton. A memorial service will be scheduled in the future, with the time and date to be posted here. Memorial contributions in June’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army or the Food Bank of Southwest Michigan. Memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
