BESSEMER, Mich. – June M. Bulinski, 86, of Bessemer, passed away on Friday, Aug. 2, 2024, at Aspirus Ironwood Hospital in Ironwood, after a brief illness, with her son at her side.
June was born on June 21, 1938, in Bessemer, a daughter of William and Gladys Walls. She attended Bessemer schools and graduated from A.D. Johnston High School with the class of 1956.
On June 10, 1961, June married Peter Bulinski at Christ the King Catholic Church in Ramsay. They were married for 43 years.
She was employed at Lake Superior District Power Company, and later as the bookkeeper for Steiger's Home Center. She retired in 2014.
June lived in Bessemer her entire life and was especially proud of her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and a supporting member of the Daughters of Isabella.
June is survived by a son, Patrick (Lori), Marquette; two grandchildren, Patrick J. and Hannah, both of Okemos; a sister, Judy, Ironwood; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Peter; a son, Pete; three sisters, Dorothy, Betty and Marilyn; and a brother, William.
Cremation has taken place.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Aug. 10, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10 a.m., at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 210 E. Iron St., in Bessemer, with the Rev. Dominic Agyapong, celebrant.
Rite of Committal and interment will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Bessemer.
A luncheon will be served at the parish hall immediately upon return from the cemetery.
