June Clugston Obituary

June dedicated over 40 years of her life to caring for others through her work at Chambersburg Hospital. She was a woman of deep faith, a devoted member of the St. Thomas Assembly of God, and someone who found great strength and comfort in her relationship with the Lord.
She is survived by her loving son, Cecil E. Clugston (Lori), and her cherished grandchildren: Aimee (Andrew Barbuzanes), Tyler (Makayla), and Cole Clugston, Brant and Spencer Myers. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Tanner Thorsen (Haleigh) and Ava Barbuzanes, and great-great-grandchildren, Layla and Adam Thorsen.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cecil E. Clugston; her sons, Richard, Douglas, and Greg Clugston; and her sister, Dorothy Benedict.
A funeral service celebrating June's life will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg, with Pastor Josh Baldwin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
June will be remembered for her quiet strength, her unwavering faith, and the deep love she had for her family and the Lord.
