Born in Wyoming, PA to Reginald Taylor and Thelma Williams Taylor, predeceased by her husband Command Sergeant Major Robert Crossley of the PA Army National Guards, and survived by her three daughters, Karen Fanus (Camp Hill), Kim Smith (Harrisburg), PA, and Kathy Pettet (New Berlin, PA). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. June was surrounded by family on her final day this October, and with prayers and blessings made her transition homeward to the house of the Lord.
June's favorite saying was to "give yourself a hug," and believed wholeheartedly that life is truly an adventure, and that a calling awaits every traveler on this journey. She went back to school at 50 earning her nursing degree, and from that point on held a strong passion for good health, nutrition and wellness. Many have seen June walking her beloved Wheaton Terrier through the streets of Camp Hill, always waving and chatting with neighbors and friends.
Services will be held at The Church of God in Mount Holly Springs PA at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
A luncheon, to celebrate a beautiful life lived, will be hosted by the family, at the church, following services. All are welcomed and encouraged to share their fondest memories of June.
The Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home is Honored to be entrusted with the care and arrangements for June and the Crossley family.
