Ronald Neumann Obituary

Visit the Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home, Inc. - Harrisburg website to view the full obituary.
Ronald J. Neumann, 75, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was born on February 13, 1951, in West Babylon, New York, to the late William and Elena (Arfsten) Neumann.

Ron graduated from West Babylon High School and went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Horticulture from Cornell University. He later owned and operated Ron Neumann Sales, where he combined his livelihood with his love of trees and the outdoors. Ron was not only known for selling the trees he cared so much about, but also for taking the time to educate his customers and share the passion he had for his work.

He married the love of his life, Kathleen, and together they shared more than 40 years of marriage, building a family filled with love and laughter. After retiring from his business, Ron remained active and worked part-time for Unique Limousine in Harrisburg, a position he served in proudly until his health began to decline.

Outside of work, Ron enjoyed shooting sporting clays, watching Star Trek and James Bond movies, and spending time in nature. Over the past two years, he became active at Christ the Savior Orthodox Church in Harrisburg alongside his son, Daniel. Ron quickly developed a deep appreciation for the Church and often encouraged family and friends to visit and experience the church he had come to value so much.

Ron is survived by his children, Daniel Neumann, and Christine Neumann and her husband, John Constantine; his grandson, Vladimir J. Constantine; his brother, Bill Neumann; and his nephew, Ross Neumann.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen Neumann, on June 30, 2024.

Graveside service and committal will take place on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Shoop's Garden of Rest Cemetery in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, beginning at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist with Ron's funeral expenses, to the Christ the Savior Orthodox Church.
