June W. Dean

June W. Dean, age 96, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away on March 16, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tilman E. Dean, in 2012. June was also preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley Porter, Beverly Kingrey and Sandra Toops.

June is survived by her children, Daniel Dean, Darcel Dean and David Dean; her grandson, Joshua Heydorn; two great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

June graduated from Miamisburg High School in 1947. She worked at NCR and Trinity . She was devoted to her family. June enjoyed reading, traveling around the U.S., jigsaw puzzles and enjoying nature. She was also a woman of faith and a member of the Mt. Zion Church, in Xenia, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Goodwill Easter Seals of Miami Valley, 660 S. Main St., Dayton, OH 45402, to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420 or the charity of one’s choice.

A Celebration of June’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 5:30pm, with Visitation held prior from 5:00pm-5:30pm, all at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio.
