Ms. June Foster, age seventy-two, departed this life and entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 5, 2025 at her residence in Halifax County, Virginia. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland March 1, 1953 to the late Haywood and Nancy Bailey Traynham and made her home in Alton, Virginia.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, one daughter, Shirbane Traynham of the home; two grandchildren: Marquay Traynham and Shirlyssa Brandon, both of the home; three great-grandchildren: Neriah Traynham of Roxboro, North Carolina and Zola Lipscomb and Mo'Yair Lipscomb, both of Alton; special friend, Gladys Swann of Reidsville, North Carolina; and a host of cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive visitors at her home, 1080 Bethel Hill Road in Alton, Virginia 24520.
The family will announce plans for a Memorial Service at a later time and the website will be updated accordingly.
