June Frager Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crawford Family Funeral & Cremation Service - Edmond on Dec. 12, 2025.
Our mother June Ann Frager passed into the arms of Jesus with her three daughters by her side on December 9, 2025, after valiant fight with kidney disease. June Ann (Snyder) Frager was born June 1, 1936, in Wichita, Kansas to Murrel and Frances Snyder. She grew up with her three brothers in Winfield, KS playing lots of tennis and bumming around with all her close high school classmates. After high school she attended Pittsburg State University and majored in Physical Education. She was a Gorilla cheerleader and throughout her lifetime was a proud graduate with many fond memories and fun reunions. During her time at Pittsburg State, she met Mike Treps. The two were married from 1958-1971. Of that union, her three girls were born. In 1966, the family moved to Edmond, Oklahoma, where she obtained her Master's degree and subsequently taught physical education for Central State University and Edmond Public Schools. After her divorce in 1971, she bravely raised her three girls as a single mother, attending all her girls activities, keeping them on the tennis court and in church. In 1985, she rekindled a friendship with Dick Frager, whom she met playing tennis during high school. The two married in 1986 and were married (22) years until his passing. In 2016, she moved to Epworth Villa where she had many friends and enjoyed playing poker with the men. She also enjoyed her Oak Tree Park bunco group and her dear Oklahoma City tennis group. She watched all Thunder games and "loved those boys" (as she would say), loved to gamble at any casino and had a super fun-loving and outgoing personality. Finally, she immensely loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her three daughters: Robin Murray (Dennis), Wendy Foster (David) and Tracy Treps (Steve Huff). Her grandchildren: Megan Ray, Erin Hauge, Dakota Murray, Katie Wyatt, Garrett Foster, Jett Huff and Tatum Huff and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Darrel Snyder (Pat), many nieces and nephews and Dick's children Mindy Young (Edward) and Greg Frager (Tabitha) and their families. Preceding her in death are her parents, brothers Eldon Snyder and David Snyder, and her husband Dick Frager. Our family would like to thank Dr. Merveldt at the Oklahoma Kidney Care, Heather and the staff at Mercy Hospice and those who loved and cared for her at Epworth. Services will be held Tuesday, December 16, 10:30am in the Brill Chapel of Epworth Villa.

June was so much fun at our Bunco group where she was often a winner! We all loved her chocolate and peanut sweets. She will be greatly missed.
