June M. Lawrence passed away on Wednesday, July 9 at the age of 95. June grew up in Kingston NY, she met her husband Vince on a blind date in 1950. On that date he managed to slam her finger in his car door but it was his "lucky break" because they married 6 months later. They began their lives together when Vince was beginning a career at Allied Chemical, which brought them to Syracuse and they would eventually settle in Camillus, NY.

June had an amazing singing voice and was in various singing groups. She also wrote and directed several shows for The Camillus Elks Lodge and other organizations. For many years she sang The National Anthem at the Camillus Memorial Day Parade. She sang with Vince in the church choir at Immanuel Methodist Church where she also created beautiful floral arrangements for the church altar.

June and Vince loved their yearly travels to Wrightsville Beach NC and Ormond Beach Fl.

June is proceeded by her Husband of 68 years Vincent Lawrence, her parents Harry and Rose Winchell, Brothers Bruce Winchell and Gene Winchell and many wonderful friends.

She is survived by her Daughter, Debra (David Allen) Lawrence, Son, David (Lanice) Lawrence, Granddaughter, Emily Lawrence, Grandson, Griffin Lawrence, Sister, Carol Anne (Walter) Baumgardt, Sister in laws, Cristy Winchell and Mary Winchell, many Nieces and Nephews and a dear friend Chrissy Seymour.

The family would like to thank Pace of CNY and Loretto, for taking care of both June and Vince for many years. They would especially like to Thank Mary Jo Bailey NM, Dr. David Heisig, and Dr. Kimberly Townsend for their care and compassion taking care of June.

A calling hour will be at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 303 Kasson Rd, Camillus, NY 13031, from 11am-12noon on Saturday July 26, with a funeral service immediately following at the church.

The June and Vince show are finally back together!
