June Orth Obituary

Mrs. Orth was a former manager of Bright Angel Gift Shop in the Grand Canyon. She was a member of Lyman First Baptist Church and Fidelis Sunday School Class. She was a former member of College Park Baptist Church in Kingman AZ. June was a cancer survivor. She loved taking care of the elderly as well as her family and friends.
Mrs. Orth is survived by her sons, Jim Starr (Joanne Margaret), and Robert Laird; grandchildren, Jim Starr, Jr. (Wenda), Tammy Jordan (Keith), Samantha Laird, and Bobbi Dawn; great grandchildren, Nicki, Joey, Zachary, Elizabeth, Danielle, Jonathon, David, Ryan Britney Alexis, and Josefin. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her stepfather, Charles Starr; former husband, Robert Laird; brothers, Earl James Orth and Robert Orth; and sister, Betty Jo Orth Muolo.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 with the service beginning at 2:00 PM at Living Waters Funeral Home & Crematory, 529 Spartanburg Hwy. S., Lyman, SC 29365. Interim Chaplain Brian Bailey will officiate. Interment will be at Fellowship Baptist Church, 315 Hamlin Road, Liberty, SC 29671.
The family would like to thank all the extra help of friends and family and especially interim healthcare. Special thanks to Jade with Comfort Keepers and their team care. We are grateful to Dr. Spitzer and Dr. Yang of Bon Secours and the team for the great care in June's Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma treatment prolonging her life to age 95 with Rituxin slow drip.

Praying for the God of all comfort to wrap his loving arms around you during this time of loss. I praise God she´s up there with Jesus, but even though the separation is temporary, it can be hard. Praying for you all. Sending much love.

Sorry for the loss of your Mom and Grandma. So glad to have been able to spend time with Great Aunt June back in May this year. Sending prayers of comfort and hugs. Sorry we can´t be there because of the distance, but we will try to watch online tomorrow. Will be praying for you to feel the Lord´s comfort as you go through this. We love you all.
