A memorial visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Bourg, Louisiana from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. The urn burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Montegut, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your favorite charity.
She is survived by one daughter, Christine Pellegrin Waldrip (Scotty); three sons, Duaine Pellegrin (Winnie), Brent Pellegrin (Nara) and Billy Joe Pellegrin (Mitzi); seven grandchildren, Stephanie Pellegrin, Jamie Pellegrin Deroche (Ty), Tyler Pellegrin, Mark Waldrip, Brandon Pellegrin, Mallory Pellegrin and Cole Pellegrin; and brother, Randolph Bascle (Kathie).
She was preceded in death by one son, Mark Pellegrin; one daughter, Maria Pellegrin; her former husband, Willis "Billy" Pellegrin; her mother, Edna Blanchard Bascle; her father, Macon Bascle; her brothers, Carol Bascle and Roland Bascle; and her sister, Lillian Bascle.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who devoted her life to helping others.
The family would like to thank The Suites of Sugarmill in Houma and ACG Hospice Care for all of their care and compassion.
