TOWNSVILLE- June Faye Perry Perkinson, 75, of Townsville Landing Road, died Thursday, December 5, 2024 at her home. Born June 13, 1949 in Nash County, she was the daughter of the late Pansy Ercelle Parker Perry and Claude Stephen Perry and was the widow of Rex Perkinson. She was a member of Tabernacle Methodist Church and was a former member of Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church in Raleigh.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Tommy Privette and Pastor David Pate. Burial will follow in Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery in Raleigh.
June is survived by her son, Brad Perkinson (Tori Fisher) of Wake Forest, her daughter, Amanda Perkinson (Tony Moody) of Clarksville, VA; a grandson, Tyler Andrew Perkinson (Cheyenne Dumas); a granddaughter, Eleanor Jade Perkinson; two step grandchildren, Braxton Moody and Jordan Tucker; two sisters, Renelle Knott (Buddy) of Knightdale and Betty Bunn of Pikens, SC; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Perry.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 12:00 until 1:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cyrus McCormmick, Larry Hardee, Ed Braxton, David Annis, Richard Clegg, and Scott Johnson
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Lake Country SPCA, 11764 US-15, Clarksville, VA. 23927
