June Faye Rowe, age 78 of Louisville, KY, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the Norton's Audubon Hospital in Louisville. After retiring as a hair stylist, June was able to indulge in her greatest pleasure, caring for her family and grandchildren. Her smile was always the brightest when she was surrounded by her loved ones.
She is the daughter of the late Edgar McDowell and the late Haley Glass McDowell, and is preceded in death by several half siblings.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Donald Rowe of Louisville, KY; her three sons, Trevor Rowe, his wife Jenny Payne and their child Marley of Shelbyville, KY, Jeremy Rowe, his wife Courtney, and their child Avery of Mt. Washington, KY, and Brandon Rowe, his wife Heather, and their children Kendall and Jordin of Taylorsville, KY; her twin brother, Junior McDowell; and a half sister, Barbara Lotze.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM CT on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home in Munfordville, KY. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CT on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Cherry Springs Cemetery.
