June L. (Striano) Scarpa, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on Friday March 7, 2025. She was 85 years of age.
June was, for a long time, involved in the community, teaching kindergarten,and later as the manager of Stoneham Arena. In her later years she liked to bake, play bingo at the Senior Center, and spend time with her dog Tye.
June is the beloved wife of the late Albert Scarpa. She is the cherished mother of Stephen Scarpa and Thomas Scarpa and his wife Lisa. Loving grandmother of Natalie and Andrew Scarpa. Dear sister of Rose Howard and Phyllis Costa. Daughter of the late Frank and Pompeia (Palmeiri) Striano. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM on Wednesday March 12th, 2025 at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating June's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with her family on Tuesday March 11th, 2025 from 4 pm to 7 pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
