June Brown Strider, 93, a homemaker, died December 26, 2025, at home. Visitation is Monday, December 29, 2025, 1:00pm - 2:00pm at Rena Lara Baptist Church in Rena Lara, MS. Funeral services are 2:00pm Monday, December 29, 2025, at Rena Lara Baptist Church in Rena Lara, MS with burial in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lyon, MS. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.
June had a deep love for tending to her flower garden. She was a devoted homemaker; she cherished spending time with her family and creating lasting memories. June was a faithful and dedicated member of Rena Lara Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons Ernest Strider III (Rebecca) of Clarksdale, MS, Norris Shane Strider of Rena Lara, MS, David Strider of Rena Lara, MS; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Ernest Strider Jr; parents Harvey & Daisy Russell Brown; seven brothers & one sister.
