June Yokooji Obituary

While living and working in Denver, June met her husband, Kiyoto "Kiyo" in the bowling leagues. She volunteered as a Cub Scout Den Leader and also worked as a bookkeeper, then later at the Denver Public Library for more than 17 years.
June loved her sewing and raising their three children. She also enjoyed her gardening, working at the library, and playing the games in Black Hawk.
June and Kiyo would often enjoy road trips visiting family in California and Texas.
June is survived by her son Elden (wife Cindy), Golden, CO, daughter Barbara, Denver, CO, sister Mae (Ida), Boulder, CO, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband Kiyo, and their second son, Daren.
June passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 95 with her son and daughter near her side. No services are planned at this time.
