Junius Bazile Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Demby & Son Funeral Home on Oct. 1, 2025.
Junius Eddie Bazile affectionately known as Big June, Junie, Plute and PacMan,was born on November 2,
1980 to Ora Stewart Bazile and the late Junior Bazile in Thibodaux, LA. He was the baby brother to four
awesome siblings, Vincent, Felicia, Karl and Janell. Did I mention he was spoiled? Anywho, he found Jesus
at the early age of 6 at Vacation Bible School just like most of us in this room.
Junie Fact, he was baptized in the pool y'all looking at right now.
When he showed up to the house he would yell, "Hold whacha got, comin n hot." Junie matriculated (big
word) through Ascension Parish Schools and graduated from Donaldsonville High School and was part of
the The Great Class of '98. Feel free to cheer classmates. He continued his education at Baton Rouge
School of Computers where he attained a certification in Computer Programming. Once he decided to
adult, he became gainfully employed at Cox Communications.
Junie Fact: Junie actually speaks well and used his own voice in that commercial. Yes, that guy was pretty
awesome.
As for making money, this guy could pick up a coin with the grapple of any piece of heavy equipment. He
took pride in that and was extremely good at it. Saints Sunday was something special which required
family members to wear Saints gear to see that team lose. To show his support for this losing team he
bought a big gold truck. That's dedication.
Junie Fact: This guy created 3 very handsome sons: Jontraveon 23, Jayden 19, and Junius, Jr. 9, AKA JuneBug
and loved them with all his being. When he spoke of them he would stick out his chest and say 'that's my
boys.'
Known for his kidding nature, he was always ready to make jokes, compliment the ladies and respond with
humorous yet flippant remarks. When the silence was too loud, he would yell the following: "What Bout
Them Tigers" or "Who Dat"! He said that was always a good start to some good conversations.
He departed this life at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital on July 29, 2025. His demeanor will always be
remembered as a fun, light hearted character that won't be forgotten. The best part is his wife, dad and
childhood friend Mikee were waiting for him along with a host of other family members. Just know he
will be watching over all of us and making sure we're not "coming in too hot".
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly; father, Junior Bazile. He is survived by a loving mother,
Ora L Bazile, siblings, don't forget that they're awesome: Vincent, Felicia, Karl and Janell; 3 sons:
Jontraveon, Jayden and Junius, Jr. and a host of family and friends.
