"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the Heavens: A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant, a time to uproot... A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance." Ecclesiastes 3:1-4
On Saturday, September 6, 2025, Ryan Landry Sr. departed his earthly home. A life filled with passion and love for those around him, Ryan was born to Valencia Landry and Robert Davis on August 31, 1988. Remembered as a great husband, father, brother, uncle, Godfather, cousin, mentor, and friend, Ryan's presence and genuine spirit was felt by every person he ever encountered.
Ryan shared a special love with his wife, Keirra Landry. The two wed in holy matrimony on July 28, 2023. Together, the two represented a love that was inseparable and spent a great deal of time supporting their kids in their extracurricular activities.
Ryan accepted Christ an early age at Buena Vista Baptist Church in Lemanville, LA. Ryan completed his schooling in the Ascension Parish School System at Donaldsonville High School, where he was a graduate of the Class of 2007. Ryan continued his schooling at ITS Technical College, where he graduated. Ryan would go on to devote many years of his career as a painter and blaster.
Ryan possessed many talents and capabilities, of those was serving as a mentor to area youth. Connecting with the White Castle High School Boomin' System Band allowed Ryan to mentor band members and encourage them to be the best they could be. Ryan enjoyed spending time with the drum section and admiring their spirit and commitment.
Known across the area for crafting a fresh fade, Ryan greatly enjoyed being a barber, and it was yet another opportunity for him to interact with others. Although it was a service he provided, Ryan established many friendships through his barber chair as he saw clients turn into brothers.
