Terry Coleman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Demby & Son Funeral Home on Feb. 23, 2026.
Terry Terrell Coleman, born November 28, 1971, to the late Ed M. Coleman Sr. and Geraldine Burks Coleman, entered eternal rest leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ed Coleman Jr.

Terry leaves to cherish his memory his stepson, Chaz Collier, and stepdaughter Shawna Guillory. He is also survived by his devoted sisters, Patricia A. Coleman, Carzette M. Coleman (Aaron), and Renee Coleman Johnson (James); his godchildren, Ashjah Jones and Marvin Burks; his best friend, Aaron Bowers; and his devoted aunt, Lula Jones. Countless nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends will miss him deeply.

Terry was a gentle soul who touched everyone he met. He found peace in quiet moments, especially while fishing with friends. Family meant everything to him-spending time with his nieces and nephews brought him pure joy. His warm spirit, easy smile, and steady presence made him someone people naturally gravitated toward.

Terry will forever remain in our hearts, and his spirit will continue to surround and guide us wherever we go.

Graveside service will follow at St. Paul Cemetery Bowie Street, White Castle, LA. 70788
