Justin Nathan Alvarez, age 42, of Erie, departed on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Erie, March 5, 1981 to Juan Alvarez and Donna Dobbeck. Justin graduated from Fortis Institute with a degree in Welding and Fabrication Technology. He took his skills of welding to work on the 9/11 memorial statue that sits at Blasco Library. He was also a small business owner to "Quick Mow and More" landscaping.
Justin was a devoted father and spent much of his time attending his children's dance recitals, basketball, and football games. He was an avid enthusiast about nature; he enjoyed fishing, hunting with his sons, camping with his family and overall family and friends get togethers. Justin enjoyed playing pool, watching UFC fights, and rooting for his Steelers! He enjoyed cooking, grilling, and experimenting with different meats and seasonings.
Justin is survived by his wife Jessica Alvarez, his children Navin, Navaeh, and Noah Alvarez. He is further survived by his parents, his siblings Alexis Alvarez, Natasha Alvarez, and Melinda Lopez. Justin is survived by his nieces and nephews Aubriella Alford, Airabella Alicea, Aireyan Alicea, Addison Alvarez and Anekyn Alicea, as well as his grandmother, Janet Dobbeck of Erie, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
Justin is preceded in death by Abuelo Juan L Alvarez Maldonado, Abuela Dominga Maldonado Montalvo, and Titi Wilma Alvarez Maldonado.
Friends are invited to call on the family Monday, May 8, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown 602 W. 10th Street, Erie.
