Justin "J.K." James Kruszewski, 47 years old, peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 1st 2026, leaving his family and friends, heartbroken.

Justin was born on December 23, 1978 in South Bend, Indiana. He was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and friend.

Justin is survived by his parents, Dawn and Rony Young, and James and Tina Kruszewski. He also leaves behind three children, Justin Jr., Jayden, and Braelynn Kruszewski; his sister, Jocelyn, her husband Eric Erlacher, and their three children, Rheannin, Dominick, and Kaydence, and a great niece Stevie Rae Hopper; his brother, James, his wife Staci Kruszewski, and their children, Emma and Oaklynn; nephew, Tyler and niece, Kayla Rankin, and a great niece Naomi Rae Hanes; grandparents, Virginia Mell and Gene Young; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins, left behind to mourn his passing.

Justin was proceeded in death by grandparents, Robert E. Mell Ernest, Irene Kruszewski, and Donna Young; and a sister, Shelley Egendoerfer.

Justin recently worked at General Stamping and Metal Works, for approximately 13 years, where he made many friends. His soft heart was his greatest attribute.

Visitation will take place at St. Joseph's Funeral Home, 824 Mayflower Rd. from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, on Sunday, March 8th, with remembrance time, sharing of memories, beginning at 5:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00PM on Monday, March 9, 2026 at St. Adalbert Church, 2505 Grace St. South Bend. Donations can be made in his name to AARC, 818 E. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, IN 46617.
