Justin Quinn Obituary

Justin courageously fought stomach cancer for four years. When his oncologist gave him a few months to live in September of 2021, Justin laughed and proved him wrong.
Justin grew up in Russiaville, IN and excelled in every type of sport he played. He loved being outdoors and would often play in the woods behind his house. He graduated from Purdue University with a B.A. in Health Physics. After graduation, Justin bravely moved to Boston, MA to work for Phylotecnics and eventually got a job at MIT. He met his wife through his roommate and coincidently found out that they worked at the same place. Two years later, they married and moved to Brighton, MI to start their lives together. Once established in Brighton, Justin became a Senior Health Physicist at the University of Michigan.
Justin was the best husband and proud father to Liam Timothy Quinn and Lincoln James Quinn. He loved his boys dearly. He loved playing baseball, football and basketball with his boys. They would often play video games together. Towards the end of Justin's life, he took up a new hobby of bird feeding with the boys. He bought three different types of bird feeders and installed them on his deck. Whenever his family would sit down to eat, they could watch the birds eat their meal too. His boys cherished the times he would take them to Kensington Metroparks to feed the birds.
Justin is survived by his wife Tania Quinn, sons Liam and Lincoln Quinn, Mom Trish Fausett (Jerry), sister Jessica Quinn McCain (Ken), brother Josh Quinn (Angelia), niece Laureli Quinn, nephew Cormick Quinn, sister-in-law Lisa DiVirgilio (Lucas Fernandes) and brother-in-law Nicholas DiVirgilio. He was preceded in death by his father Timothy Quinn and both sets of grandparents.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Justin's children's college funds.
