Just finished watching an old (1961) American Bandstand video showing Justine. I watched from Atlanta, Ga. in 1961. I actually talked to her 20 years ago when she was a RE agent in Arizona. Very friendly to a strange nut case. Sorry to see she passed.

I was telling friends last night how I was named after Justine Carelli because my mom watched her all the time on AB. Then in my early 20´s (1988 to be exact) I actually met her while I was working in a Las Vegas hair salon. She came in to get her nails done and the nail tech doing her nails told her that there was a hairstylist working there with her name. They called me over to talk to her but I didn´t know she was THE Justine Carelli. I then told her the story of who I was named after and she said THAT´S ME! I´M JUSTINE CARELLI! So crazy I got to meet her like that. Small world.
RIP Beautiful Justine.

RIP Justine. I'll give this an 85. Has a good beat.

I was obsessed with Justine that I named my daughter JUSTENE. Watch Banstand every day after school in the 50´s. She & Bob were my favorites. Rest in peace.

I was actually named after Justine, and our birthdays are exactly 30 years apart! I was so sad to see that she had passed away last year.

As a teenager in SF, I would run home 12 blocks after (high) school to watch American Bandstand at 4. I had a crush on Justine (purely admiration) and wanted to look like her, so put my hair in a hundred pin curls at night to get that perfect wave in the back. Had that hairdo in my yearbook picture. So sorry she's gone.

I am so sad to learn of Justine Carrelli-Miller's passing. I watched American Bandstand every day after school and watched her and Bob dance. They were "American" Dancing royalty. May she be dancing with Dick Clark in heaven.

I was 11 when I would watch "American Bandstand" after school each day. Justine and Bob, along with Arlene and Kenny were my Idols. They were so cool. All I knew was I wanted to be like those guys and have a girl like they had and be THE BMOC ! I IDOLIZED these guys. To look like that and dance like that was a teenagers dream ! RIP sweet lady. You will always be our teen queen !
