Kaarin Pendleton Brouillard on Saturday, October 4 2025, peacefully and quietly went home to be reunited with her mother, father and sister. Kaarin was born on March 26 1943, in Hartford, CT, to Edna and Clifford Pendleton. She spent her early formative years in Delmar, New York, later moving with her family to various states in support of her father's career. She attended the University of Minnesota for one year before moving back to Connecticut. Living in West Hartford, she went to work at London & Lancashire Ins., where she met her future husband. She leaves behind her husband of 61 years, George R. "Bob" Brouillard Jr., two sons, Roger Alan, his wife, Celeste, and Michael Andrew, his wife, Debra, and eight grandchildren Jon, Tyler, Mathew, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Erin, Laura and Isaac. She also leaves many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends, all who will miss her greatly. She moved with her family to Windsor Locks, CT, and joined the Windsor Locks Congregational Church. There, she spent a number of years attending to and helping young children. She then took over the role of church secretary, where she worked many years supporting five different ministers. She was also a den mother and committee member of Cub Scout Pack 257. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her because of her kindness, caring and beautiful soul. Her family wishes to express their deepest and sincerest appreciation to the management and staff of Stonebrook Village of Windsor Locks, as well as the workers of the Compassus Hospice organization for the kind, gentle and loving attention she received, making her final time comfortable and peaceful. A memorial service will be held at the Windsor Locks Congregational Church, on Main St., on November 3rd, 2025, at 10:30am.
