Kacie Ann Tucker, 32, of Kuna, ID, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2025.
Kacie was born on October 13, 1992 to Christy and Brian in Blackfoot, ID. Throughout her childhood, Kacie loved all the unloved things in the world. She saw the beauty in the ordinary and anyone who met her was immediately enchanted with her big heart and beautiful smile.
Kacie graduated from Filer High School in 2011 and enjoyed competitive cheerleading. It was an activity that lit her up and her team took first in the state her senior year. Kacie used her years in cheerleading to help coach "her kid's" teams over the years and spent more than one season with Misty coaching cheerleading.
Throughout her life, Kacie always maintained close relationships with her siblings - Misty, Ryan, Jessica, Melissa, and Patrick. She was especially close to Ryan and over the years, her mother often referred to them as "Mutt and Jeff". Kacie's very best friends were her siblings and she treasured and loved them deeply.
In 2007, Kacie became an aunt for the first time. Her niece Sydney came into the family and shortly thereafter she became an aunt to Andrew, Erica, Eryona, and Emilya. Being an aunt was a job that Kacie took seriously and she would always show up for "her" kids. The kids all loved aunt "Tato" and always wanted to spend time with her. Kacie was always willing to go all the places and do all the things that the kids wanted her to - from school concerts to Roaring Springs to huge family vacations - Kacie lived to love them and be part of their lives.
During her life, Kacie went through many challenges and hardships; but that never dulled her sharp wit, her infectious laughter, or her shining spirit. No matter what Kacie was going through, she was always empathetic, loved deeply, and made friends of everyone she met. She will be missed more than words can say and her light in this world will live on in the people who she loved and whose lives she touched and changed forever. The family invites you to share your memories of Kacie and upload photos to the memorial page as we celebrate her life and legacy. As we remember Kacie, let us remember her as she was - a beacon of joy, a wellspring of strength, and an embodiment of love.
Kacie was predeceased by her brother Ryan, her mother Christy, her grandmother Delores, her grandfather Jim, her great grandmother Joyce, and her great grandfather Melvin. She is survived by her father Brian; her step mother Charity; her step father Dee Walters; aunts Brenda (Chris) Cothary, Carolyne Jennings, and Tracy (Jason) Miller; uncle Larry Jennings; sisters Jessica, Misty (Brandon), and Melissa; Brother Patrick; cousins Josie, Allie, Bradley, and Nick; nephews Logan, Roland, Andrew; and nieces Erica, Eryona, Emilya, and Sydney.
Services are being coordinated by Misty Tucker - any interested parties may call 208-358-7600 for more information.
