Kaden Jerry Lane Thomas, 20, passed away at his home in Bradyville Friday, October 2, 2025. Born in Rutherford Co., he was the son of Larry and Julie Farless Thomas of Bradyville.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Kimberly Thomas (Lester Garrett) of Murfreesboro; nieces, Breanna Leigh Walkup and due in February, Teagan Grace Garrett; grandparents, Jerry Farless, who he called his best friend, of Bradyville, Larry Thomas, Sr. and Barbara Thomas of Centertown; aunts and uncles, Lisa Farless & Billy Mears of Woodbury, Jennifer & Chris Garrett of Murfreesboro, Mark & Christy Thomas of Readyville, Anthony Underwood of Centertown, Bridget & Mitch Duggin and David Jennings all of Woodbury; cousins, Coty (Rebecca) Garrett, Matthew & Hannah Thomas, Mattea Thomas, Brittany & Jordan Merriman and Brady Duggin; best friend, Tucker Travis and his beloved Beagles, Bandit, Bobo and Jake. Also surviving are numerous friends who all made wonderful memories with Kaden.

He was preceded in death by his Nannie, Brenda Wilson Farless and his aunt, Kimberley Dawn Farless.

A graduate of Cannon Co. High School, Class of 2023, Kaden was a jack of all trades from mowing yards, working on cars, going to car shows but mostly helping others with anything that they needed. He was a simple man and a country boy through and through. He loved running his beagles in trials where they won many trophies, ribbons and awards. It tickled him to drive his red S10 with the Pizza Hut sign on top. He loved Subway, watching the sunsets and wearing suspenders. Most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his Pa Jerry. Together they made many lasting memories that they will never forget. He was the first boy in 35 years born to the Farless family. Kaden was a member of the Baptist church.

His family will receive friends Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M and Wednesday until his time of service.

Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 8, 2025 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Thomas and Bro. Chris Pirtle officiating. Interment will follow in Thyatira Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home to help his family with funeral expenses.

Prayers for the family. Kaden was a kind sweet young man. He helped his dad doing yard work for me. He was so tickled about his Pizza Hut sign on his truck. He just laughed when I asked him about it. One day after he finished weed eating the yard, I ask him if he would like to take a dip in the pool. His eyes got big and said "really ". I told him he did a great job and he could swim as long as he wanted. He had so much fun that day. I feel honored that I had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be missed. He helped me every time I ask him for it. He was an amazing young man.
