On June 2, 2024, the world lost a bright soul as Kai T. Finley departed this life in Pinson, Tennessee. Born on December 3, 2004, in Selmer, TN, Kai was a son filled with the essence of life, born to Rick Finley and Amy Franks.

Kai graduated from McNairy Central High School in the class of 2023. He found joy in various activities such as martial arts, racing games, crafting bracelets, and immersing himself in listening to his music.

Kai's spirited nature shone brightly through his outgoing persona; he cherished every moment spent surrounded by people and had a profound love for food, particularly savoring his dad's famous "Cowboy Pasta."

At the age of 19 years, 5 months, and 30 days, Kai left behind a legacy of love and memories. He is survived by his father, Rick Finley and wife Amber of Selmer, TN; his mother, Amy Franks of Pinson, TN; a sister, Christen Young of Olive Hill, TN; two brothers, Mitchell Finley and wife Kaylee of Cedar Grove, TN and Caiman Finley of Selmer, TN; grandfather, Terry Finley of Adamsville, TN; great grandmother, Linda Priest of Adamsville.

He is preceded in death by grandmothers, Robin Finley and Annie Whitman; great grandmother, Sherry Meek.

The Finley family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to McNairy Central's Mrs. Day and Mrs. Brown for the unwavering love and support they provided to Kai. As we bid farewell to an extraordinary young man whose spirit soared high among us, let us cherish the memories that bind us together in love and remembrance.
