Kaira Michelle Smith

Kaira Michelle Smith, 22, of Woodford, VA, passed away on November 24, 2025. She was born on June 9, 2003. Kaira's life was filled with love, laughter, and light. Her presence was unforgettable-marked by an infectious laugh, a strong spirit, and a heart that cared deeply for everyone around her. Though she was not meant to leave this world so soon, we find comfort in believing that Kaira was simply too beautiful for this world. She carried a warmth and grace that felt magical, and those who knew her could feel the purity of her love and the gentle, outgoing nature of her spirit.
Her passing leaves an ache that words cannot mend and a heartache that no one can heal, but her beauty-inside and out-will continue to shine through everyone who carries her memory.
Kaira was a devoted and proud mother to her son, Xavier King Nguyen, who was the center of her world. Her greatest joy came from loving him, nurturing him, and striving every day to be the best mother she could be. She was equally devoted to her role as an aunt, cherishing every moment spent with her nieces Kahmya, Kaliyah, Cambrye, Nova, and Soleia all of whom adored their Aunt Kaira and will forever carry her memory with them.
Kaira loved getting her hair and eyelashes done and always took pride in her confidence and personal style. She dreamed of becoming an EMT, a goal fueled by her passion for helping others.
She is survived by her son Xavier; her mother Jessica Smith; her father Kevin Smith Sr.; her siblings Kevin Smith Jr., Kayla Smith, and Kenya Smith; and many loving family members and friends who cherished her deeply.
Kaira's strength, humor, unforgettable smile, and boundless love leave behind a legacy that cannot be measured. Though her time here was far too short, her impact lives on in the hearts of all who knew her, loved her, and were forever changed by her beautiful spirit.
