Kaitlin Graduated Valedictorian of her 2006 class at Catasauqua High School. She continued her education earning bachelor's degrees in education and Math at Kutztown University. She continued her education, completing 2 master's Degrees. She was last employed as a high school math teacher for Garnet Valley High School in Glen Mills, PA. While in college, Kaitlin competed on the Kutztown Equestrian team, and the Women's Rugby team, earning MVP status. Post high school, she continued her Rugby with Brandywine Riot team and then Doylestown Lady Dragons.
Surviving along with both her parents are brothers, Timothy Varley of Fairfax Station, VA, Robert Tomecek of Catasauqua, PA, and sister, Melanie Bilheimer of San Diego, CA.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA has been entrusted with her care and arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions, may be made in her memory to Peaceable Kingdom, 1049 Mac Arthur Road Whitehall, PA 18052.

Our deepest condolences. Kaitlin was a beautiful horse lover and a fond memory at Kohlers. Remembering many shows on Sundays with Donna and the gang. My heart breaks.

I was a student of Ms. Tomecek´s my freshman year of high school. She was one of the best teachers I have ever had. She made the learning experience fun and exciting. She always supported me and checked in on how I was doing even when I wasn´t her student anymore. She was hilarious and always made us laugh. Her jokes and humor will always hold a special place in my memory. I know that she was loved by many and we will miss her.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Ms. Tomecek's passing. I had the privilege of having her in numerous subjects throughout all my years in high school. She was the type of teacher that had the ability to relate to all of her students and teach in a way they could understand. I will miss her witty jokes and colorful personality. My prayers go to her family and all that are affected. May she rest in peace.

I have no words after hearing that one of my favorite teachers I´ve ever had has passed on. My heart is with her family, and I´m praying for her soul to rest in peace. This is really hard to take in as she was my freshman year teacher and I just graduated this summer. I will always remember Ms. Tomecek as such a funny and such an amazing teacher. She is very missed

Ms Tomecek was one of the nicest and most caring teachers I have ever had. She was always the first to help someone who needed it and my heart breaks with this news. She was a great teacher.

Ms. Tomecek was my math teach for majority of my high school career. I never liked math, but somehow she made the math classes she taught my favorite class to attend. She went above and beyond to make sure I succeeded in her classes. Her personality lit up every room and she never failed to make her students laugh. She was always there to listen when I was having a bad day, and I know she did the same for so many of her other students. She will be missed so much, and the positive impact she made on her students never went unnoticed.
