Karen Brooks Obituary
Memorial services for Karen R. Brooks will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Parkview Baptist Church, 1001 Forsythe Avenue, Monroe, Louisiana.
Ms. Brooks passed away September 4, 2024, after a brief illness due to complications for diabetes. Karen was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Evelyn Brooks. She is survived by her aunts, uncle, cousins and dear friends.
Karen graduated from Neville High School and remained a devoted Tiger fan. She received her college degree from Northeast Louisiana University. Karen worked for the Monroe News Star, Louisiana Machinery, and retired from Scott Powerline.
Memorials may be made NAFA (Neville High School Alumni) 600 Forsythe Ave, Monroe, LA, 71201, Parkview Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
