"I have fought a good fight, I have kept the faith."
- II Timothy 4:7

Linda Diane Rollins was born on June 13, 1953, in St. Joseph, Louisiana, to the parents of Roosevelt Rollins, Sr., and Ella Rollins. Linda, better known as "Lin", was called home to rest on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

Lin accepted Christ at an early age. She was baptized at Pilgrim Chapel Baptist Church and discovered a passion for ushering at that moment. Lin served as usher at many churches.

Lin graduated in May of 1971 from Joseph Moore Davidson High School in St. Joseph, Louisiana. She married her high school sweetheart, Ezekeil Davis, in September of 1971. Together they shared nineteen years of marriage as they moved from St. Joseph, Louisiana, to Birmingham, Alabama, to St. Louis, Missouri. To this union, two children were born, LeMichael Davis and Stephanie Davis. Lin worked 27 years for General Motors and retired in 2005.

Lin was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; sister, Evelyn Davis; and her ex-husband, Larry Wayne.

Lin leaves a special spot in her heart for her two children: LeMichael Davis of Monroe, La. Stephanie Turner (Harry) of St. Louis, Mo. She has 3 precious granddaughters Shauna Davis, Sasha Grant and Seanice Davis. Her loving siblings are Donald Pollard (Betty) of St. Joseph, La, Lennex McGee of St. Joseph, La, Evangelist Wanda Bowman (Roy) of St. Joseph, La, Minister Roosevelt Rollins Jr. of Oklahoma City, Ok and Carlton Braford of Texas.

She leaves behind a host cousins, nieces, nephews, an aunt (Clara Braford) and friends whom all remained close to her heart. Also, a dear friend, Louis Kinney, with whom she shared many years of companionship and joy.

She was highly admired by those who met her.

Dignified, elegant, faithful, strong, and a "True Child of God in Action" describes....
Ms. Linda Rollins.
