Karen was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Bobby Pritchard and the late Kathy Arthur Pritchard. She was a homemaker and former assistant store manager for Roses Discount Store. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband James Collins, Jr. of Vienna; her children Matt Pritchard of Vienna, Corey Akridge and his wife Mikayla of Fort Valley, James Collins, III of Vienna, and Kayla Akridge of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and her three grandchildren Hunter Pritchard, Adalyn Akridge, and Ansley Akridge.
