Karen Crown Obituary
Karen Crown, 69, of Honesdale passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at home. Her beloved husband of more than 47 years, James E. Crown preceded her in death on March 10, 2022.
Born February 26, 1956 in Honesdale, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Alice (Cole) Rake.
Prior to her retirement, Karen worked at Camp Summit near Duck Harbor. She will be remembered as a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by four children: James Crown, Jr., Bradley Crown and his wife Paula, Joseph Crown and his companion Chrissy, and Amanda Crown and her fiancé David Jenkins; several grandchildren; and a brother, Allen Rake of Simpson.
Karen was also preceded in death by two brothers: Ronald Decker and Elijah Decker.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at the Pine Mill Community Hall, 919 Pine Mill Road, Equinunk, PA 18417
