Karen Edds Obituary
July 21, 1946 - September 23, 2025
Karen Anne Edds, 79, of Richmond, VA, went to be with the Lord on September 23, 2025. She is preceded into heaven by her parents, Ronald and Norma Edds; as well as John Spencer III. Karen is survived by her loving children, Scott Spencer (Sharon), Josh Spencer (April), and Christina Frank (Jason); her beloved grandchildren, Christopher Spencer, Stephen Spencer, Joshua Glenn Spencer (Sara), Olivia Spencer, Jaxson Frank, and Colton Frank; and her precious great-grandson, Oliver 'Ollie' Spencer; her brothers, Daryl Edds (Patty) and Barry Edds (Cathy).
Born in West Virigina, she moved with her family to Richmond as a small child. She later had a long career of over 25 years as a Henrico County school bus driver that continued even after her retirement as the 'Gma Bus' spending time with her family and getting them where they needed to go.
A celebration of Karen's life will take place 9 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Bliley's, 8510 Staples Mill Road, Richmond, VA 23228, with a reception and fellowship following. Interment to follow reception in Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Autism Society Tidewater Virginia at www.tidewaterasa.org.
