Karen C. Evans, 75, of Valdosta, died on Monday, August 19, 2024, at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born on December 9, 1948, in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Charles Carney and Betty Kozloski. She was the office manager for Arrow Screen Printing and was a member of Central Avenue Church of Christ. Karen enjoyed traveling, especially backroads, seeing covered bridges, visiting local diners in her travels, and loved going to the mountains.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Tad and Priscilla Evans of Valdosta, and Todd and Nancy Evans of Quitman; her grandchildren and their spouses, Cooper and Emily Evans, Caleb Evans, Emma and Daniel Millsap, and Noah Evans; her great-granddaughter, Kinsley Millsap; two sisters, Carla Gracia and Marta Carney. She was preceded by two sisters, Cathy Leonard and Laura Lee Rentz, and one brother, Ricky Carney

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane
