Our Beloved Mother

Karen Lambert Harman, 84, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on March 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and devotion to her family.

Karen was a true force of nature, known for her deep love of flowers and her joy in spending time outdoors. She had a passion for painting, especially watercolors, and found beauty in the simplest moments of life.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. To those who knew her best, she was the "Keeper of Memories" and the heart of the family. Her dedication to her loved ones was unwavering, and her presence brought warmth and strength to all around her.

Born on September 25, 1941, she was the daughter of Emmert Lambert and Sylvia Bowers Lambert.

Karen was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Charles Edward Harman, on June 10, 1961. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1985. She often said, "There was only one love of my life, Charlie, and I will always be married to him," a sentiment she carried faithfully throughout her life.

She is survived by –

Her children, Charles (Denise) Harman and Stacy Harman;

and her cherished grandsons, Zachary, Hunter, and Chase Harman,

along with extended family and many who loved her dearly.

Karen will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation will be held at Kimble Funeral Home, 80 South Main Street, Franklin, West Virginia, on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM with a service to follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Michael Loudermilk officiating. All are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.

Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery at Brandywine, West Virginia.
