Karen Hunnell Obituary

Karen Ann Hunnell, 73, of Canonsburg, formerly of Washington, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, in Donnell House, Washington. She was born October 21, 1950, a daughter of the late Willis Leonard Hunnell and Althea Mae Christian. Karen was a homemaker who loved to dance and listen to the music of Elvis Presley. She enjoyed attending cookouts and gatherings, getting her hair done and relaxing at home watching television and listening to the radio. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, friends and fur-babies. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Washington. Surviving are two sons, Perry Hamilton and Robert Hamilton; a daughter, Carrie A. Hunnell Rush; two brothers, Kenneth P. Hunnell and W. Mike Hunnell; 10 grandchildren; plenty of great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are a great-grandson, Bryson Rush; and a great-niece, Isabella Hamilton. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 3 p.m., the hour of service, Thursday, August 29, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Father Michael Peck officiating. Guest book available at www.NealFuneralHome.com.
