Karen Renee Breithaupt Lang went to her heavenly home on January 16, 2024, Karen passed away at UMMC Jackson, MS.
Karen was born in Greenville, MS to Randy and Shirley Breithaupt on December 1, 1970. She attended Eastside Baptist Church in Belzoni, MS. Karen loved working in her yard, cooking, shopping and loved her family deeply.
She was preceded in death by her father, Randy Breithaupt, paternal grandparents, Billy and Ruth Breithaupt; maternal grandfather, John Phillips III; nieces, Anniston Thornton and Katy Menotti; and nephew, Collin Hill
She is survived by her husband, Micheal Lang; mother, Shirley Breithaupt; maternal grandmother, Helen Taylor; four children, Rodney Taylor, Jr. of Madison, MS, Brooklyn (Jacob) Keith of Inverness, MS, Kennedie (Dwayne) Duett of Belzoni, MS, and Averie Keyton Rodgers of Inverness, MS; two grandchildren, Lainey Sloane Taylor and Mary Malcolm Keith; sister, Nikki (Matt) Wilson of Florence, MS; brother, Hutch (Natalie) Breithaupt of Hattiesburg, MS; nieces and nephews; one great niece; one great nephew; cousins; aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 21, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, at Eastside Baptist Church in Belzoni. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. A private burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
