Annette Moore McKee, 99, of Indianola, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Indianola Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Anne was born on August 16, 1926, in Eupora. She was a dental hygienist and worked at The Gift Shop in Indianola for many years. Anne was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She loved her church and was faithful to the women in the church. Anne was a good friend to many people. She was a former member of the Indianola Garden Club and was a member of the David Holmes Chapter of the DAR.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul McKee; sister, Jane Moore Holloway; brother-in-law, Billy Keith Holloway; cousin, Burton Moore; and her chosen daughter, Sissy Sharp Bridges.

Locally, she is survived by her beloved dog, Buddy; niece, Mary Carolyn Pugh of Belzoni; nephew, Jim McMurtray of Arlington, Virginia; great nieces, Ramona Mauseth and Eva Champion; cousins, Stewart Moore and Macon Moore; dear friend, Natalie Peeler; and many great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Indianola City Cemetery with Rev. Park Neff officiating. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
